Enhancing durability of AFOs with Vapor Smoothing

We employ vapor smoothing in all our 3D Printed Ankle-Foot Orthotics (AFOs) to enhance durability, and recently collaborated with AMT PostPro to explore how vapor smoothing process affects the impact resistance of AFOs.

Using HP 3D Printing MJF printing technology, we compared as-printed AFOs with those that have undergone our PostPro vapor smoothing process. 

The conclusion? It significantly enhances the durability and integrity of these devices, offering better protection against sudden impacts like trips or falls. Check out the full case study and findings below:
