Warranty

Thank you for choosing an AbilityMade product!

AbilityMade take pride in our quality of product and service and strive to manufacture all our products to the highest possible standards. We offer the following limited warranty on our products.

WHAT YOUR WARRANTY COVERS

Any defect in the material and/or workmanship of the 3D printed aspect of the device which occurs due to normal wear and tear from use of the product as intended and which renders the product unsafe for use. This warranty applies for up to eight months from the date AbilityMade receive the scan from the health professional.

Any defect in the workmanship or durability of the consumable portion of the product (for example, straps, velcro, laces, leather) for up to X days.

Any device which can not be worn due to the fit / shape of the product only in circumstances where AbilityMade were responsible for modifying the scan shape. In these circumstances the fit has a warranty period of three months from the date AbilityMade received the scan from the health professional.

 

Refer to your care flyer provided at the time of receiving your AM product for any additional individual product information.

WHAT WE WILL DO

During the warranty period, if the AFO is found to be defective in material or workmanship, we will replace or repair at our cost.

WHAT YOUR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse or other actions not consistent with the instructions for use.

Products which have been altered by anyone other than the healthcare provider who ordered the product from AbilityMade.

Product replacement does not cover any costs related to visiting your healthcare provider for the replacement.

Products which require replacement due to fit where:

  • the healthcare provider who ordered the product was responsible for determining the fit of the device

  • there have been medical or individual changes in the client which could not have reasonably been foreseen

 


WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF A DEFECT

Contact your Orthotist OR Contact us (details below) stating the Device Number (found on the heel of the device) and your Orthotist’s Name.
