Yes. 3D scanning is generally a quick, non-invasive and comfortable process. It uses a digital scanner to capture the shape of your child’s foot or lower limb without the need for plaster casting.

Does my child’s age affect the type of orthosis they need?

Age can be one consideration, but it is not the only factor. We select the orthosis based on your child’s movement, development, strength, alignment, functional needs and goals, and how much support they require.
